When you join the faculty at KIPP TRUTH Academy, you join a team of dedicated professionals that support each other and work as a team to create an environment conducive to learning.
Teachers are responsible for delivering effective, high-quality, rigorous instruction that produces unmatched results and student understanding. Teacher work hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and include approximately two Saturdays each month as well as one month during the summer.
At KIPP TRUTH, we also have “Teacher Fellows”, who are responsible for supporting the delivery of excellent and results-oriented instruction and empowering teachers and students in the learning environment. Teacher Fellows are key members of the KIPP TRUTH team, performing additional duties as necessary and doing whatever it takes for ALL students to learn.
Open Positions
KIPP TRUTH Academy currently has positions open in fifth through eighth grades for content-area teachers (Math, Social Studies, Science, and Language Arts), specialist teachers, and Teacher Fellows.
Qualifications: Demonstrated, successful urban classroom teaching experience and teacher certification. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and relentless dedication to ALL children are musts.
Compensation: Salaries are based on the Dallas ISD schools pay scale, with additional compensation for the extra teaching hours required by our program.
